In Greece, in order to charter a sailing boat, you should hold a sailing license from your country or elsewhere. Also, a second person on board should also have a sailing license. In case the other person does not have a license, he will be requested to sign a statement admitting his sailing competencies.
In case nobody holds a sailing license, you can hire a professional skipper.
If you wish to charter a yacht with a professional skipper, we can find an experienced one for you. Professional skippers know well waters in Greece. They are able and permitted to control the sailing boat on their own. The cost of a professional skipper starts from 120 Euros.
Some additional charges are the following:
• Deposit - The security deposit you need to leave at the agency (you take it back with the end of the charter if everything is ok). It is left, so as the owner of the yacht has insurance for any damages that may occur or for example in case you have not returned the yacht full with fuel.
• Fuel – You receive the yacht full of fuel and you have to return it full as well.
• Port fees – In some ports you have to pay fees for your staying (indicatively the cost is about 3-5 euros)
You can leave your deposit either by a credit card, bank checque, or cash. The amount of the deposit varies depending on the yacht.

Each sailing yacht has full equipment. Depending on the yacht, you can get informed by its inventory list, to have a specific idea of objects and equipment on board. Concerning your shopping, we can offer you a check list, for you to check what you need for food and drinks, and we can deliver them to you at the yacht.
You can be well informed from us concerning the weather, characteristics of each complex of islands. Also, all the yachts are fully equipped with maps and routes. In case you want us to inform you concerning suggested routes, please feel free to ask us.
Our cancellation policy is as following:
a. Cancellation 90 days and over prior to embarkation, an administrative fee of €150 will apply.
b. Cancellation 30+ days prior to embarkation: 50% of the total charter fee
